29 September 2021

The kick-off meeting of Inno4Vac, a project that targets faster vaccine development and manufacture, by harnessing the power of big data and AI, was held on September 28-29, 2021.

Over the course of two days, representatives from academia, industry and SME partners spoke about the project's vision and future challenges, highlighting the work ahead, namely for the four subtopics to be pursued:

  1. VAXPRED: Systems-immunology platform for model development

  2. CHIMICHURRI: Controlled Human Infection Models (CHIMs)

  3. MERMAID: State-of-art innovations in human in vitro 3D mucosa models and assays

  4. VAXinS: Biomanufacturing platforms using mathematical modelling

We’d like to thank all 150 participants for the informative and engaging presentations.

We look forward to the exciting times ahead.
